Advent is a time of waiting and meditation. We think about the coming of our Lord and Savior in the Incarnation and the part that Mary and Joseph played in his life. St. Francis was devoted to the Incarnation. This devotion came out in his prayer, his writings and in his actions.

Here are some ideas to put a Franciscan flavor in your Advent meditations:
