먼저번에도 말씀 드렸듯이

항구에 도착하면 여행가방을 포터들에게 맡기시고 

빈 몸으로 (각자의 방에 가지 마시고)

배에 들어가는 즉시 엘레베이터를 타고 

9층 식당에 가셔서 식사를 하시면서 만나도록하겠습니다. 

제가 주문한 저희들을 위해 사용할 수 있는 단체방 신청이 되지 않았습니다.

배를 타고 게스트 서비스에 다시 신청을 해 보겠지만  

우리들의 아침 만남의 장소를 

보통 3층 중간에 위치한 The chaple.혹은 Nobel library 방이 조용함으로 

이 방의 빈 시간을 알아보고자 해요 

11층, 10층과 3층에서는 아침 jogging 을 할 수 있기도 합니다.

발티모어에서 떠나는 7일간의 크루 중에서 카니발이 로열 카러비안 배보다 $100가량 비싼 이유는

3일째 하루를 보내는 카니발회사에서 소유한  Princess Cays, Bahamas  아름다운 비치에서 하루를 보내게되기 때문입니다.

Cruise Check in 에 대해 말씀드리겠습니다. 전 예를 보면 12시부터 check in을 합니다. 

boarding Pass를 보시면 각자의 check in 시간이 예약되어 있습니다. 

저의 check in 시간은 2:30분입니다. 일찍가셔도 책인이 됩니다.

각자의 짐에 boarding Pass 마지막 장에 있는  Luggage Tag을 프린트하셔서 

짐에다 붙이고 가져오십시오.

port에 도착하시면 여러분들의 짐을 porter들이 받아 각자의 방으로 가져다 줄 것이니. 

그냥 짐을 porter들에게 맡기고 

boarding Pass와 여권을 가지고  check in Line에 서시고 Ship Card를 배부 받습니다. 

Ship에 들어가셔서는 방으로 가시지 마시고 Deck 9으로 엘레베이터를 타시고 올라가시면 

Buffet 음식을 드실 수 있읍니다.

9층 Lido Restaurant에서 식사를 하시면서  가다리면 일행들을 만나게 될 것입니다.

아름다운 해변을 거닐고 모래찜질과 선탠하기에는 최적인듯하네요

 섬의 도로 구간은 약 110km입니다.

This is a rather charming looking little roman catholic church that’s all white and scrupulously maintained. Incidentally this was built in 1940 and was the first church on this island. There is a larger church across the road from this old one on Hunters Road.

Buses 

This is the cheapest form of public transportation in the island. The minibuses (i.e. Jitneys) are convenient to reach out to almost all places in the island including Downtown Freeport, Port Lucaya, as well as eastern and western end of the island. 

 

 

 

The service is quite frequent and starts from 7am in the morning until sunset (6pm). There is no fixed schedule as such... the buses start as soon as enough passengers have boarded. Bus fares are fixed and depends on your destination and would need to be paid in exact change.  

 

Here are the main bus routes and fares: 

 

Between Downtown Freeport and Port Lucaya Marketplace. The bus depot at Freeport is at the City Market (formerly Winn Dixie Plaza). In Port Lucaya the bus depot is about 400m west of Port Lucaya Marketplace on Seahorse Drive. The bus fare between any two points in Downtown Freeport and up to Port Lucaya is only $1.  

 

From Downtown Freeport the bus service extends to several destinations both towards the eastern as well as western end of the island. In western end, you can reach up to West End along Queen's Highway. Fare along this route can be $1.25 to $4 (one way) depending on your destination. At the eastern end the bus service extends up to Mclean's Town along Grand Bahama Highway. Bus fare along eastern end can be between $1.25 to $8 (one way) depending on the destination. If you are unsure about the fare, ask the driver, but carry enough change. 

Car Rentals (from east to west 118km) 1h 44min drive

While there are several local and international car rental companies in Freeport and Port Lucaya, you need to ensure that you are comfortable driving on the left

Average rental rate from a local company would be around $50 - $60 per day while from an international company it would start from $90 per day.

Atlantis Paradise Island Beach Day Pass Cost: $69

water taxi $6 round trip  .. taxi the fare is $4 one way/ as well. $8 round trip.

I suggest you take a cab one way and the water taxi the other.. a fun experience.  additional fee for the toll to cross the bridge. 

Taking the ferry is a nice way to see the harbor, but takes much longer.

Without a day pass, you can still explore Paradise Island’s public beaches, along with the Atlantis casino and marina, where you’ll find numerous shops and restaurants. Expect to pay a gratuity of around 15 percent and, possibly, the bridge toll. With no traffic, the journey should take about 10 minutes, but it can be longer at busy times of day. Returning to the cruise port by taxi is also easy – you can hail one in front of any Atlantis entrance at any time of day.

Getting to Atlantis by Water Taxi

Water taxis, private services offered by individual operators, run from the docks immediately behind Festival Place to Paradise Island every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. one-way and return tickets are available; during the boat ride, you’ll get a short narrated tour, and the guide will expect a gratuity. From the dock on Paradise Island, it’s a fairly short walk to the resort.

Walking to Atlantis

If you’re happy to walk 2 miles (or 4 miles for the round trip), you can get to Atlantis from the cruiseport on foot. Head east on Bay Street toward the bridge; then go left across the bridge and walk to Paradise Island. You’ll arrive at Atlantis almost immediately; in fact, you can see the distinctive pink castle-like landmark throughout your walk. Pedestrians do not have to pay the bridge toll. If you’re purchasing a day pass, the time spent walking could cut into your time at the resort.

TIP

• The Bahamian dollar is equal in value to the U.S. dollar, and both currencies are accepted universally in the Bahamas. Be prepared with cash, including singles, to make payment of taxi or water taxi fares, plus tips, easy.

Blue Lagoon Island

A day on the beach is all about relaxation, and this all-inclusive pass to Blue Lagoon Island ensures a hassle-free experience from start to finish. 플로리다에서 100마일 정도 동북쪽에 위치하였다. 

바하마에서 낫소 다음으로 인구가 많은 지역이다. 
Freeport 항구는 가장 큰 선박들도 정착이 가능하며, 
크루즈터미널, 컨테이너 항구들이 겸비되어 있다.
